Whisper in your ear,
Palm upon your cheek,
A tear strays from your eyes,
And I’m left to hold you once again.

Watching as I always do,
I do my best to protect you,
An angel with a dream…
A dream to be seen.

I am the angel who is always there for you,
Yearning to become real,
Dreams are guides in this life,
Let me be seen.

Let me show you the ways of my love,
Let me show you the tales I’ve dreamed of,
Let me prove that this will not be another mistake,
Friends forever, give it a chance.

I’m the angel who wishes to be yours,
Let me be the one…

Don’t cry anymore,
Don’t cry anymore,
I’ll catch each tear with my heart.

Just to see your smile.

Wow Devin! That was beautifully written but don't you think your becoming a bit obsessive?... Please don't take that the wrong way that is just a mere observation through my eyes... :hug: I like the imagery of this poem and the choice of words you used made the poem come alive. Well Done!

Please don't call it obsessive. It's just how I feel. I want to show her that I'm different from the rest. Obsessive would be if I called her everyday, didn't give her any space, and harrassed her, I'm not falling into that stupid shit again. I'm not going to mess that up. But thank you for the comment. :hug:

Also, I just hate it how this keeps happening to her all the time, you know? I care deeply about her, but I once was obsessive a year ago and I learned from that because I almost lost her, I thought I did lose her that time. Not going to make that mistake again, her friendship means too much.
